* Graded Statistical Analysis course with around 100 students * Involved grading homework assignments and exam papers, proctoring exams * Mentored undergraduate students and cleared doubts during office hours

* Dr. Kuchipudi's Lab: * Antiviral effects of Anthocyanin compounds and its metabolites on A549 cells: * Pretreated the A549 cells with the compounds for 24 hours and infected them with H5N1 for another 24 hours while treating the vehicles with DMSO simultaneously * qPCR was performed on the total RNA extracts of the cells and results suggested that 2 of the compounds used, enhanced viral replication while one metabolite had mild antiviral effect. * Stained the pretreated and infected cells for nucleoproteins (Immuno-staining) and imaged under microscope to analyze viable cells which confirmed the above-mentioned results. * Assisted in analyzing the gene expression changes in the NOTCH signaling pathway of Influenza infected chicken macrophage cell lines by infecting macrophages with H5N1 influenza virus * qPCR was performed on the total RNA extracts to observe if there is an upregulation of the NOTCH pathway genes.

* Currently analyzing the relationship between Seasonal Flu vaccination and the development of immune tolerance towards Influenza virus in the population by performing Hemagglutination Inhibition Assays and Micro Neutralization Assays on human serum samples * Performed Plaque Assays to identify the PFUs of viruses that are to be used in the experiments * Involved in seeding and maintaining cell culture lines ( MDCK, MDCK - Siat, Vero etc. ) in the lab and growing viruses in tissue culture * Identified Dengue monoclonal antibodies that cross reacted with Zika virus through Immuno Fluorescent Assays

* Performed random tablet sampling and HPLC under Quality control to confirm the constituents of products. The essential protein components were confirmed using unique peaks in HPLC output. * Performed hardness test and other physical tests on these random samples. * Acquired knowledge regarding Stores, Production, packaging & Product development in the pharmaceutical industry.

* Handled small animals such as mice and rabbits and exposed them to an antigen (BSA). After 1 week, the animals were bled through different techniques (tail vein, orbital sinus, marginal ear vein, saphenous vein) and isolated polyclonal antibodies from its blood. * Limiting dilution was performed on the produced polyclonal antibodies and they were quantified by Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). * Hybridoma cells were produced by fusing myeloma cells with B-cells to establish a monoclonal antibody producing continuous cell line.
