Monitoring community risk levels, analyzing risk characteristics, and developing security governance solutions, safeguarding experience of more than 500 million users in RedNote community. Maintained risk control software platform, responding to, troubleshooting, and resolving anomalies. Additionally, proposed and optimized platform functionalities from a business perspective. Collaborated with R&D, algorithm, and other teams to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of security solutions. Addressed the surge in fake account activity on the platform by proposing a multi-modal similarity detection and account clustering audit solution, reducing the omission rate by 10%. Participated in the development of model capabilities, introducing a rapid iteration process with large models to adapt to fast-changing risks.

Led research and development projects focused on creating new facial attack materials for testing the security of facial recognition systems. Explored and studied advancements in computer vision, computer graphics, and projection mapping to propose technical approaches. Independently designed, built, and implemented an automatic facial alignment and projection system based on deepfake techniques and dual camera-projector calibration. Conducted independent research and developed an automatic cutting algorithm for paper facial masks using point cloud processing and stereoscopic geometry.

Managed data processing and model training for a smart vending cabinet project based on object detection. Handled tasks such as image collection, processing, and organization of product data, using this data to fine-tune existing models. Developed a web application using the SpringBoot framework to visualize deep learning model data stored in MongoDB.

The MTech SE programme emphasises the skills required for architecting scalable, secure and smart systems and platforms. The focus will also be exploitation of software technologies, methodologies and management techniques. It focuses on the practical and systematic construction of software systems, using innovative and state-of-the-art techniques.

This programme comes as a response to the increasing research and commercial interest for autonomous and intelligent applications that are based on the principles of the Internet of Things (IoT). This is a comprehensive programme covering all four structural layers needed for building complete IoT applications, such as smart grids, smart cities, smart homes, industrial automation, telemetry, etc. The programme focuses on computer science’s foundation and support, combined with other disciplines, such as microelectronics, communication networks and economics management.
