Raised in Tokyo, Japan, I am a second-year student at Colgate University majoring in Film and Media Studies and minoring in Russia and Eurasian Studies. My fascination with the arts derives from my day-to-day interactions with people and the natural environment. I pride myself on my interpersonal connections, relationships that serve as the primary influence of my work. As a student with a foot in both the creative arts and the social sciences, I strive to present new perspectives regarding how art reflects culture and the complexity of human emotion through the usage of my own artistic impressions, primarily through but not limited to photography and film.
