Shubhlakshmi Dani

I am a graphic designer and Kathak dancer with over 20 years of engagement in design, creativity, and cultural expression. My professional journey has been shaped by a deep appreciation for art, aesthetics, and thoughtful storytelling across mediums. I am the founding partner of Life is Beautiful, a bespoke home and lifestyle brand established in 2016, born out of my love for meaningful design and beautifully crafted everyday objects. Prior to this, I founded Itoink Graphics, which organically evolved into "Life is Beautiful" as my creative practice expanded into lifestyle and spatial design. While my role at Life is Beautiful has currently taken a back seat, the brand remains a reflection of my design philosophy and values. Alongside my creative work, I manage our family office as a Whole-Time Director at Shubhit Holdings Pvt. Ltd., where I support the overall operations, governance, and strategic direction of the Hasit Dani Family Office. This role has strengthened my engagement with long-term thinking, stewardship, and responsible leadership. Over time, my focus has increasingly shifted toward social impact. I serve as the Managing Trustee of the Param Arth Charitable Trust and lead Geeta Seva Kitchen, a volunteer-driven initiative in Mumbai that prepares and serves meals for communities in need. This work is deeply personal to me and reflects my belief in service, empathy, and community-led action. I am drawn to opportunities that allow me to bridge creativity with purpose—where design, culture, and compassion come together to create meaningful and lasting social impact.
