Product Management Intern @ Blackhawk Network

About

I'm an early-career Product Manager with a Technology Management and Computer Science background, focused on turning ambiguous, cross-functional problems into clear requirements, workflows, and decisions, especially in AI-powered products where quality and trust matter. At Blackhawk Network, I worked on enterprise product initiatives, partnering with product, engineering, IT, and operations teams to define requirements, streamline onboarding and categorization workflows, and support platform integrations used by multiple enterprise clients. I am particularly interested in AI-driven product development, including evaluation design, translating subjective quality into product requirements, and shipping AI features responsibly in real-world environments. I’m actively seeking Product Manager, Product Analyst, and Business-focused roles at the intersection of AI, technology, and strategy.

As the Technical Lead for our web development team of four, I had the exciting opportunity to lead the creation of AggieLease, a website designed to make lease swapping easier for college students at UC Davis. Leading this project was a fantastic experience where I learned how to manage a group of peers, assign roles, and set deadlines to keep us on track. Throughout the project, I aimed to foster a collaborative environment where everyone felt empowered to share their ideas and contribute their skills. We utilized a range of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with frameworks like React, to build a site that was both functional and user-friendly. At the end of the year, my team presented our work to this year’s cohort, sharing the insights we gained and the challenges we overcame. This role not only helped me sharpen my technical skills but also taught me valuable lessons in leadership and teamwork.
