Headed the Distribution Franchisee business of Tata Power Co. in Ajmer that catered to about 1.5 lakh consumers. Total manpower in this company was 650 which included on roll employees and outsourced full-time personnel. Total annual turnover was about Rs. 415 crores. Key achievements were reduction in AT & C loss from 10.2% to 8.2% in one year, Provisional billing below 1.5%, Billing efficiency 91%, Collection Efficiency 101% and improvements in all operational indices by more than 10%. Consistent and effective advocacy with AVVNL and Govt. Of Rajasthan ensured no adverse orders/actions.

Headed the operations for Distribution Division in the Mumbai license area with more than 7.5 lakh consumers spread over 434 sq. km area, including acquisition of new consumers. The job involved maintaining the Operation Indices and acquiring new consumers in a unique market with parallel licensees with dynamic tariff and regulatory norms. About Rs. 180 crores worth capital projects were executed annually. Managed 6 zonal teams with various competencies with about 75 officers, 50 staff members and about 400 outsourced full-time personnel.

Headed Zonal teams involved in the maintenance of Distribution assets, new project execution and acquisition of new consumers in West and North Zone of Mumbai. On an average the addition was 4000 new consumers per year and about Rs. 40 crores of Capex per year were managed successfully. Exceedingly high standards of operations and maintenance indices were achieved by the zonal teams.

Was heading the team responsible for execution of all Distribution Projects in Mumbai license area. This involved all types of projects executed for releasing power supply to new consumers and network development. Annual capex expenses handled was about Rs. 250 crores.

Discharged various roles and was part of a successful team which was involved in laying power network across Mumbai City and ensuring timely release of power supply to new consumers. The peak capex works executed by the team was Rs. 450 crores in a year.
