Capstone Project: In a team of 4 people, design of a controller for the pump and fans of the MFE25 motor cooling loop - Design of a simulink electrical analogy model of the cooling loop using first principles - Dynamometer testing to system components of the loop to replace best guesses of properties of model - Linearization of model for state space generation in Matlab - H-infinity norm optimization, controller design FSAE Michigan EV 2024 Design Champion -Along with a junior lead, supervised and managed, the drivetrain subsystem of a high-performance electric vehicle. - Oversaw technical drawings of the team and ensure they follow proper GD&T principles. -Redesign of the 2-stage compound planetary geartrain that connects the four in-hub motors to each wheel. - Analysis and redesigning of the microgeometry of the gears in KissSoft AG to reduce flank wear and improve safety factor of previous year’s design. - Redesign of the gear train assembly to reduce compliance in the system and the likelihood of axial misalignments and risks of failure. - Generate a load spectrum from test data for lifecycle of geartrain. - Co-lead the redesign of the upright, using a nastran solver to optimize for stiffness and mass. - Designed for proper oil management of the gearbox. -Created and conducted tests on dynamometer to find out efficiency of the gearbox with varying oil heights and viscosities.

- Assisted the mechanical team in assembling the world's first IMM generator - Designed and manufacturing of pieces for testing - Assist in generating drawings for parts of the IMM generator - Damage report of assemblies

- Worked with the electric motor team of the High Voltage, R&D branch of Dana TM4 - Worked under the direct supervision of the engineering team, to assist in designing custom electric motors. - Designing or redesigning parts, on Siemen NX, of the assembly, to adapt the motor for in house performance test of electric motors. -Technical drawings following GD&T principles of parts of the motor and sub assemblies of the motor. - Design Master drawings for Stator Assemblies
