Designed the team's first carbon fiber control arms in Solidworks and used Ansys to validate designs. Apexes were designed for a 5-axis CNC and GD&T drawings were used to communicate design specifications with the manufacturer. The design reduced the assembly weight by 43% compared to previous steel control arms. Designed direct-acting suspension in Solidworks, incorporating carbon fiber push rods and a new, low-profile ride height adjuster about 25% smaller than previous attempts.

On Team 1477, was formerly the driver from 2020-2023, coordinating the team's competitive efforts, strategy, and robot maintenance. At the FRC State Championship in 2023, I was one of five Dean's List World's Finalists in Texas. In my final season, I was the president and drive coach, overseeing all aspects of the team from engineering development, to business/financial management, to competition strategy and organization. In 2024, we went undefeated at the San Antonio District Event and won the Johnson Division at the FIRST World Championship advancing us to the Einstein field. This team taught me invaluable skills in leadership, time management, computer aided design (CAD) using Solidworks, and teamwork.

Created a hardware system using sheet metal and electronics system to validate the accuracy of drill sensors. Presented design to Halliburton engineers for review to ensure the accuracy and functionality of the design. Mentored two new interns on details of the design for the continuation of the project at the end of the internship.
