Shrawani Navare

I completed my dissertation under the guidance of Dr. Sudeep Gupta, Principal Investigator of the Clinician Scientist Lab. My guide, Mr. Rohan Chaubal, played a crucial role in my development and learning. My project involved calculating allelic frequencies of a specific gene in HR+ breast cancer patients refractory to hormone therapy, contributing to a better understanding of treatment options. I gained extensive experience in several clinical studies, including sample collection and processing, biobanking, and obtaining informed consent. My skills also encompass thorough documentation, medical writing, data retrieval from electronic medical records, and data analysis and management. Additionally, I have been involved in patient screening and have learned various lab techniques such as DNA/RNA/protein extraction, Real-Time PCR, electrophoresis, and blotting. I am proficient in problem-solving and effectively managing any issues that arise during the research process.
