Founder's Office, Nikhil Kamath @ WTF
About
Eight years in, and the work I find most interesting is still the same: sitting close to the decision-maker, figuring out what a brand actually needs to be, and building the machinery to get it there. Six years at a boutique agency managing 80+ brands across F&B, real estate, lifestyle, and consumer taught me to think fast, hold a creative point of view under pressure, and win business through the quality of the idea. A 75% lead conversion rate was the output. The habit of thinking commercially about (most) creative decisions was the real gain. As Head of Brand at WTF, I led brand strategy and creative direction across a portfolio of clients and media properties. The work ranged from building Keemti — a lab-grown diamond brand — from concept to commercial launch, to conceiving In Her Interest, a purpose-driven programme for Zerodha built around women and financial agency that spanned identity, social media, offline programming, and digital expression. I also shaped the editorial voice and social media strategy for All Things WTF, defining how the brand showed up across platforms and engaged its audience. I'm currently within the founder's office of Nikhil Kamath — working at the intersection of brand, strategy, and operations. The role spans driving high-priority initiatives end-to-end, managing cross-functional teams and external partner ecosystems, supporting the development of new ventures, and representing the organisation in senior external engagements. It's the kind of work that requires equal parts strategic clarity, operational rigour, and the ability to move fast without losing precision. I do my best work when the stakes are real, the vision is big, and the rulebook hasn't been written yet.
