In the telecom and ISP and enterprise industry, I have developed a broad and deep expertise in routing, switching, network operations, and core infrastructure engineering. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with a wide range of networking technologies and platforms, including Cisco, Huawei, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Cambium, Sophos, and more. I possess a strong background in managing complex routing and switching environments, with a particular focus on IGPs (OSPF, EIGRP, RIP), BGP (both eBGP and iBGP), and static routes. I have also worked with advanced features such as MPLS (Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNs), QoS, and multicast. In addition to network design and implementation, I have experience in managing DNS, DHCP, and other key network services, ensuring efficient operation and performance for both small-scale and large-scale systems. Coordinate the Core Network Engineers, I was involved in the design, supervision, and setup of core network infrastructure, utilizing both MikroTik and Cisco solutions. This included work on both flat network topologies and more complex MPLS-based architectures, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization. I also played a pivotal role in ensuring seamless interconnectivity between various network layers and external entities. Furthermore, I have led Level 2 support, Network operations engineers, RF engineers IP Engineers and more, ensuring the timely resolution of complex technical issues and ensuring operational excellence. I have also taken an active role in establishing peering relationships with other Internet Peering Transport (IPT) providers, facilitating eBGP connections, and managing IP address space allocation in collaboration with Afrinic and other RIRs (Regional Internet Registries). This experience has given me valuable insight into network interconnectivity, routing policy design, and the intricacies of global internet routing. Over the course of my career, I have demonstrated a proven ability to manage large-scale network projects, optimize routing protocols and network performance, and maintain high service quality standards.
