Hi, I'm Shoko. Before joining PwC, I was an Associate Consultant at IBM Japan, based in Tokyo, where I specialize in IT consulting for the banking and financial markets. Over the past year, I have been engaged in a large-scale core banking transformation project for an international bank's overseas branch. My focus has been on data migration, where I acted as a domain lead for one of the two core areas from my second year. In this role, I worked closely with stakeholders to define requirements, clarify data ownership, and establish migration policies, ensuring that business objectives were aligned with technical feasibility. Through this work, I have also gained solid knowledge of lending business processes, bridging banking operations with system migration and compliance requirements. I collaborated extensively with both domestic and overseas teams, facilitating workshops and driving consensus on complex migration issues.
