* The Director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) promotes taking a broad, enterprise-wide view of risk * viewing risk as both hazards and opportunities * aligning risk response with resources and strategic objectives * and integrating risk management with regular planning, resource allocation, operations, and other activities. ERM increases awareness and consideration of risk, the effective mitigation of risk and risk tolerance in decision-making throughout the organization.

This position is responsible for the strategic direction, support, and supervision of the Environmental Health & Safety Department and the Biodiesel Shop; environmental, occupational health, and fire safety compliance; ensuring safety audits are being performed in compliance with established procedures, directing and reviewing the investigation of significant incidents and developing policies and procedures to ensure they are prevented in the future; and other strategic and operational safety functions which foster an environment that proactively ensures the highest standards of health and safety are maintained throughout the College.
