Introduction: Dr. Shiva Ghaed is a Nationally Board Certified, California-licensed Clinical Psychologist who practices in the San Diego area. She is specialized in trauma, and mood and anxiety disorders, and has spent most of her career working with the veteran and active duty military populations delivering evidence-based treatment for groups and individuals. She has maintained part-time private practice in Orange County, and more recently virtually, and has been recently involved in a variety of volunteer activities to support her local community, including the Sunlight Retreats and the American Red Cross, Disaster Mental Health. She recently launched a free podcast, The Happy Wizard, to help disseminate information about mental illness and psychological health. She has been recognized and honored throughout her career for her excellence in and contributions to the field.
