Built WaveTech's Sofia R&D Center from founding - designed the laboratory infrastructure, recruited and led a 15-person technical team of PhDs, senior researchers, and engineers, and established the battery testing and materials science capabilities that underpin the company's technology validation program. Responsible for the full arc from fundamental research through manufacturing scale-up and international commercial deployment. Led the company's first industrial-scale manufacturing program, transitioning battery rejuvenation technology from prototype to serial production with an order-of-magnitude increase in output. Originated and closed strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 enterprises and major battery manufacturers across multiple continents. Delivered the first commercial field deployment at Europe's largest distribution center, establishing a recurring revenue model through demonstrated technology performance in demanding industrial environments. Primary technical and commercial representative in international partnership negotiations, including direct engagements with battery technology manufacturers in Europe, China, India, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Technical contributor to multiple patent applications in battery rejuvenation methodology. Regular presenter at ELBC, Asian Battery Conference, and international industry events. Primary technical interface for investor relations and strategic negotiations.

Co-founded independent metal-air battery R&D center. Research focus on magnesium-air battery systems for remote and extreme-environment applications, including novel electrolyte formulations for sub-zero performance. Collaborative research with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Field validation of autonomous weather station powered by Mg-air battery for environmental monitoring under EU-funded satellite data project.

Completed PhD research on external influences (low-energy modulated magnetic fields) on electrochemical processes in lead batteries while serving as faculty researcher in Lead-Acid Batteries Department. Led international research collaboration with University of Cambridge on recycled lead oxide applications in battery active mass preparation. Managed project coordination between Bulgarian and UK research teams. Contributed to EU-funded HITMOBIL research program (Centre of Competence for Advanced Mechatronics and Innovative Manufacturing Technologies) focused on battery technology advancement and industrial applications. Published research demonstrating 20% capacity improvement and extended cycle life through controlled external physical treatment during battery formation. Research formed technical foundation for commercial LEIT technology applications. Research focus: active mass structure optimization, formation process acceleration, battery testing methodologies, extreme-condition battery operation, start-stop application performance. Left academic position to join WaveTech and lead commercial development of battery rejuvenation technology.

Served on Organizing Committee for 11th International Conference on Lead-Acid Batteries (LABAT 2021), contributing to strategic planning and technical program development for premier global lead battery conference. Led technical sessions as moderator, facilitating scientific and technical discussions with industry experts and researchers following presentations. Responsible for maintaining discussion quality and managing expert panel interactions. Adapted conference from in-person to virtual format during COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to successful pivot that maintained conference continuity and international participation despite challenging circumstances. LABAT convenes leading battery researchers, manufacturers, and industry experts globally to advance lead battery technology and applications.

Led development and international commercialization of LEIT (Low Energy Impact Technology) for lead battery performance enhancement. Built strategic partnerships with major battery manufacturers and system integrators including Tianneng, Leoch, Varta, and Clarios. Established international conference presence and thought leadership in the battery technology community. Presented at major industry events across US, Europe, and Asia. Co-led acquisition negotiations with American investors for TASC's technology portfolio. Contributed to commercial applications of LEIT in battery manufacturing processes including paste mixing and formation. Left to complete PhD in electrochemistry following company closure.

Led product development for HEDD1 explosive detection system from concept through commercialization: 5,000+ units manufactured and deployed worldwide. Managed international deployment of detection systems across 25+ countries including high-risk operational environments. Delivered counter-IED training to military, police, and security forces globally. Conducted trade negotiations and product demonstrations internationally. Managed R&D laboratory and led technical development across multiple detection technologies including IED/CBRN threat identification, environmental monitoring, and resource localization systems.

Designed, installed, and commissioned satellite communication networks across multiple sites. Provided second and third-level technical support and managed customer engagements for satellite applications and services.
