With over 18 years of progressive experience in the ICT sector, I am a seasoned leader and innovator in the field of information technology and digital transformation. As the Head of IT at M.P. Shah Hospital, a medium-sized, not-for-profit hospital, I oversee the entire ICT department and implement new systems, automation, and workflows that complement the hospital's vision and mission. I have successfully managed various ICT projects and ventures for the hospital, such as the implementation of the a hospital management system, the procurement of the latest equipment and software, the budgeting, planning, and resource control of the ICT operations, and the long-term and short-term strategic planning of the ICT goals and objectives. I have also leveraged my skills and experience in data collection, surveillance, and cloud computing to support global health initiatives, such as the malaria eradication program of the Clinton Health Access Initiative. My passion is to harness the potential of technology to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery and outcomes.

CHAI is a global NGO that is head quartered in Boston, USA, and works in many countries to help alleviate disease burden and address other health related problems. I worked for CHAI’s global malaria program as a senior health informatics associate tasked with developing and implementing data collection and surveillance systems for their malaria eradication programs. My roles included: - Support DHIS2 systems for some SADC government arms - Develop remote data collection systems for field operators to use during the annual spraying projects. This was done using ODK & Google Cloud. - Implementation, training, support and documentation of the systems that I developed. This was mainly done for the IRS exercise in Chobe, Botswana in 2016.
