1.Lead the material science lab, chemistry lab and metrology lab daily operations to meet project delivery expectation on speed, cost and quality 2.Lead Cummins China workgroups functional excellence work for material science, chemistry and metrology, oversee common processes implementation within China ABO. 3.Develop lab management system with compliance to ISO 17025 accreditation standard. 4.Chair Company’s fixed asset investment plan in engineering and technology function to support Cummins business strategy in China. 5.Support IPO according to request, supplier audit, SQIE training, technical consulting, etc. 6.Oversee all onsite hosting labs daily operation, make sure good housekeeping and EHS practice are maintained, provide technical and logistics support upon request. 7.Develop and review technical service pricing strategy. 8.Identify and develop technical specialists

1.Coordinate all program needs, plan and schedule engineering test orders. 2.Communicate lab information to all relevant internal and external parties effectively and efficiently. 3.Oversee activities directly related to daily testing on engineering samples, production samples, field return samples and benchmark samples. 4.Identify qualified third party labs with good cost and services. 5.Coordinate business needs with other departments and manage engineering/technical equipment investment. 6.Maintain effective and efficient lab management system, including department policies, rules, etc. 7.Monitor and improve equipment effectiveness and efficiency. 8.Manage and develop staff, maintain good working environment 9.Maintain and improve engineering testing standard and procedures per business needs and advancement of technologies.

Description： Work with program leader based in US, build the Filtration laboratory according to given budget and the projected timeline. The whole project contains: 1, Planning the testing and measurement capability of the lab 2, Get quotes on testing and measurement equipment with infrastructure and facility requirement 3, Designing of facility 4, Financial study, request for appropriation 5, Facility modification and construction 6, Equipment purchase 7, Logistics on equipment, installation and commissioning 8, Equipment run-off My Responsibilities： 1, Design of facility and lab lay-out, complete technical requirement on power, chilling water, air-con 2, Submit PO's for all the contracted facility work and supervise the implementation 3, Translate all the technical requirement into Chinese for the equipment that can be made in China, work with Indirect Purchasing Team on sourcing 4, Custom clearances on all imported equipment and asset 5, Financial reporting of the spending of the whole project 6, Negotiate lab rent with host Achievement： Successful set up of the world class automotive filter testing lab, include the capability of multi-pass, single pass, pressure impulse, media migration, fuel water separations, crankcase ventilation.

Responsibility includes leading the quality inspection team of steam turbine plant, ISO9001 quality management system maintenance, supplier audit, design review,etc.

Gained sound experience in maintaining marine propulsion systems, marine power plant, centrifugal oil purifiers, liquid transfering/pumping systems, heat exchangers, boilers, air compressors, etc. As well as hands-on skills with miscillaneous tools and machines
