Delivering smooth, efficient, and safe daily operations of the facility and maintenance management.  Ensure proper implementation and managing on all the facilities service contracts, including cost analysis, inspections and quality management of service delivery.  Responsible for infrastructure planning and construction, facilities operations, energy management, and safety compliance, adapting to a fast-paced and high-standards semiconductor manufacturing environment.  Lead the design and construction management of new build, expansion, and renovation projects, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and international standards  Monitor and analyze plant wide energy usage to provide energy savings in terms of electricity usage.  Manage external contractors, suppliers, and service providers; control procurement costs while ensuring service quality.  Lead, plan, and continuously improve plant Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) strategies, programs, and performance in line with organizational goals.  Leading EHS team in plant wide compliance of ISO14001, ISO 45001, ISMS 27001 & RBA.  Ensure full compliance with Malaysia EHS regulations and applicable standards, proactively addressing current and upcoming regulatory requirements.  Ensure factory compliance with Malaysia’s OSHA, Environmental Quality Act, building regulations, and relevant ISO standards. Lead facility safety audits, risk assessments, and develop emergency response plans with regular drills.  Identify, develop, implement, and maintain security processes, practices and policies at sites to eliminate risks, attend incidents, and limit exposure and liability in all areas of information, financial, physical, personal, and reputation risk.  Guides the activities of contract site security officers and other contracted security providers.  Develop policies and procedures related to security system

Responsible for plant facilities, hostel, company transport, cafeteria operations. Upkeep the facility in a tip-top condition, suitable and comfortable working environment. To establish key indicators for facilities and housekeeping. To work with M&E, C&S contractor on plant renovation and extension project Responsible in meeting all regulatory standards. Responsible for energy conservation program. Support company's initiatives on TS16949, ISO9001/14001, TOM, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc. Establish EHS policies and directions. Plan EHS initiatives to support organization value creation activities in compliance with local EHS authorities, relevant government agency requirements and also ISO14001 EMS & ISO45001 OHSAS standards. Lead and work with various department/functions in executing EHS compliance activities. Serve as Management Representative on Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety matters; liaison with Regulatory Body Audit/Surveillance, external Certification Body audit, customer on EHS enquiry and audit. Lead EHS team to review and ensure good governance in environmental care and occupational health & safety of fellow workers. Work with various Competent Person to ensure timely monitoring of EHS performance including submission to government agency and develop program to reduce the risk and hazard. As the Chairman (management representative) of MXL EHS Committee, to review safety needs, compliance information and site inspection, and ultimately to drive improvement action. Work with Safety Officer to drive and ensure safe environment for working place. Proactively review unsafe condition or potential hazard and get area owner to take appropriate action. Identify and implement industry best practices. Promote EHS awareness and behavioral safety plantwide. Facility Security Coordinator for MXL, lead and drive premise security program. Site BCP Coordinator. Coordinate business contingency and emergency situation within MXL plant.

Assume leadership role in capacity expansion project planning, implementation, controlling and auditing  Ensure proper implementation and managing on all the facilities service contracts, including cost analysis, inspections and quality management of service delivery.  Ensure the compliance of the company with all federal, state and local ordinances concerning Malaysian uniform building by-law, environmental, health and safety standards.  Serve as the liaison among engineering and manufacturing operations to ensure a smooth process for the introduction of new equipment or processes into the facility with respect to environmental, ergonomics, and safety considerations.  Ensure ongoing maintenance of the site’s Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in accordance with ISO14001 & ISO45001  Ensure ongoing Sustainability effort in supporting corporate initiative.  Deriving and complying the facilities and EHS operation meet the EICC (RBA) compliance.  Deriving program to train and develop facilities workforce to meet the PCBA, Box Build of Sound System, Assembly plant and D&D design center operating requirement.  Delivery of services in accordance with the standard operating procedure and operational protocol for facilities management, infrastructure and utilities system.  To provide comprehensive facility operation and maintenance management with a focus on continuous improvement & cost-effective approach.  To support GM for maintaining all facilities related matter at site and Covid compliance related matter.

 Involve in project work (set up new production line).  Involve in utilities hook up for SMT, THT, Test Assembly for final product equipment, Transducer line, QA & R&D Lab equipment.  Involve in utilities systems (FMCS, HVAC, Process Vacuum, CDA, GN2, LN2, Exhaust, DI, Drain, etc.)  Involve in space management of overall plant production cell arrangement.  Control of overall utilities consumption and overall capacity for individual utilities system.  Support production for any additional request.  Involve in company TS16949 and ISO14001 as internal auditor.  Involve in annual APM.  Involve also in building project (carpark expansion, new room design, road resurfacing, new production floor setup c/w authority’s approval and all utilities base build.)  IRCA certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001:2015  Day to day request for utilities and miscellaneous work.
