As the Operations Director of the Seed Industry CRO at IDigital Biotech and BGI Research Sanya, I lead the strategy and execution of integrated solutions for precision breeding and agricultural innovation. My work focuses on building and optimizing full-stack CRO service platforms—from genotyping and genomic selection (GS) to trait discovery and molecular breeding. I oversee product development and project operations across our core offerings: 🔬 Genotyping Solutions Encoded Microchip (EMi) Genotyping: A high-throughput, cost-effective platform for targeted genotyping (1–100 SNPs/sample), ideal for large-scale marker-assisted selection. Thesis title: Assessing the Influence of Permeabilization on BD Rhapsody™ Single-Cell Analysis System - Integrating novel multi-omics approaches into the state-of-art cellular and molecular barcoding and next-generation sequencing techniques. - Analyzing RNA expression data and proteomics data by R and BD Rhapsody™ associated platforms. - Investigating differences between immunocytes in terms of transcriptomic and proteomic data at single-cell resolution.

- Implemented academic and market research to explore effective and sustainable rodent control solutions. - Communicated with investors and commissioners, and executed the team project within complex collaborative environments. - Responsible for delivering the final report and giving the in-house presentation to the client.

- Using fish as experimental models for researching the essential metabolomics and proteomics changing when vertebrates undergoing osmoregulation and stress response regulation. - Sampling fish opercular membrane tissues and observing them under light electron microscopy for tracing the dynamic cellular changes while treating with osmotic stress. - Examining piglets’ behavioral and physiological responses when they experiencing oxidative stresses. - Assisting with performing behavior tests using T-maze to assess nonspatial memory and learning of pigs. - Collecting pig tissue samples for enzyme and histology analysis.

Master Thesis in Bioinformatics: Genomic analysis of taste receptor and olfactory receptor gene families for the Visayan warty pig - Processing whole genome assembly data by variant bioinformatics tools. - Developing pipeline for gene family identification and analysis. - Exploring evolutionary history and natural selection signals in wild Visayan warty pig genome by comparing it to other domestic animals. Other Research Project Involved: Develop novel genetic/genomic approaches for polyploids - Developing R package in studying polyploids inheritance and linkage mapping. - Validating the inheritance estimation model by simulated data computationally.
