With Mayor DeBlasio's expansion of Universal Pre-K, the DOE contracted with BSC to provide professional development trainings for thousands of new and existing pre-K teachers. Ongoing opportunities to provide training for hundreds of teachers in a variety of topics have included two 3-day workshops entitled "Getting Ready for Pre-K: An Institute for Educators" (Sumer 2014); and three workshops in "Culturally Responsive Practice" (Fall / Winter 2014).
