Position Summary: Provides hands-on floor supervision of warehouse team personally or through others and directs the efficient and cost-effective operation of a warehouse facility. Manages inbound activities related to the receipt and storage of goods and inventory management. Responsibilities include picking and pulling orders, stocking inventory, loading/unloading trucks, operating a fork-lift, and general warehouse duties. Also required to make local deliveries to include unloading materials. Responsible for budgeting, customer service, facility and equipment operation and administers overall inventory management, productivity, accuracy, and loss prevention programs to ensure that customer requirements are met.

Responsible for all aspects of inventory control, to include receipts, put-aways, and cycle counts. opened facility and ensured drivers were prepared for the next days deliveries. assisted in workflow and loading of trucks for next day deliveries. go to person for all roofing loads . proficient in WMS, and cycle count procedures to include shelf life cycle

Responsible for the Logistics and operations of a staff of fourteen forklift operators in a SAP controlled and FDA regulated facility. The exclusive OSHA certified forktruck/lift trainer for a 800k sq ft facility. Coordinated moves and inventory between four separate departments and an additional off site facility.

Successfully responsible for the start-up and launch of the NC State Education Lottery/Instant Ticket Warehouse this included time approval/payroll for a fulfillment staff of eighteen personnel security receipt of new games with the assistance and cooperation of Corporate and State security staff. Reported to off-site Project Manager (Austin Texas).
