2/1996 – 1/1997, Summer 1997 Led an urgent EPA compliance project saving the company over $500,000 in fines. Created and administered the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Policy, introduced hazardous materials inventory procedures, physically led the first hazmat inventory, and designed and implemented an MSDS database (access 3.1) with quick reference lookups. Created and maintained two OSHA standards ISO 9000 compliance process documentation for CNC lathing, milling, welding, assembly, and paint.

Implemented Production Control Software for customers in the Fishing Industry with the main goal of monitoring in real time, improving overall performance, providing more control and traceability over production, and eliminating errors via automation. Designed streamline functional workflow processes and solutions for production processing, inventory management, and distribution centers, including barcode scanning interfaces. SSRS reports and visualizations including production floor dashboards for throughput competitions which, in 1 scenario, increased production by almost 40%. Responsible for integration of production data to ERP systems such as WiseFish and JDE using SSIS and SQL Jobs; SQL replication of satellite office data back to corporate office for reporting purposes. Worked on standardizing implementations by creating pre-packaged solutions for different customer scenarios. Implemented SQL Server performance enhancements for a satellite access remote customer that effectively cut processing time down from over 4 hours to under 15 minutes

Responsible for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Software implementations across multiple industries including Grocery, Retail, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals ranging from 6 week to 14 month project life cycles. Included functional requirements gathering, process flow design, ERP integration configuration, setup communication networks, created maps to translate data from ERP to ANSI and EDIFACT standard documents. Responsible for software installation, SQL database creation and configuration including security administration, backups, restores, creation of views, stored procedures, functions, optimizing execution plans, table indexing. Completed UAT, provided technical and end-user training, and EDI compliance testing. Created the EDI User Manual for Data Masons flagship product.
