I was the IT Site Head for Roche Sequencing Solutions, Madison. Our team was responsible for the overall health of IT within this location, including desktop support, infrastructure, support, storage management, and participation in corporate projects. Our team supported Windows, Linux, SAP, various custom and off-the-shelf applications, and all day-to-day technology needs. Specific duties include: * Lead IT team * Budget planning and management * Contract negotiations and vendor management * Manage IT strategy in alignment with business needs at a local, divisional, and global level In addition to the Site Head duties, I was tasked with leading projects to migrate the non-manufacturing Sequencing sites from their existing Finance/Procurement solutions into the corporate SAP environment. This required coordinating project teams comprised of both local and international resources and ensuring that global processes were rolled out smoothly and with no negative impact on the businesses.

Manager, Client Support/Client Services & Support Coordinator
DDI is a nonprofit that designs software for other nonprofits, and provides it as a SaaS. They provide CRM, donor management, loans, investments, GL, AP, AR, Project Mgmt and Process Management, among others. The software is written using Progress. I originally served as the Client Support Manager, but transitioned to the coordinator role when I relocated to Wisconsin. My role was simple: client advocacy and delight. Our team handled application support & some development. We also handled release management, including QA, and pretty much anything else that has anything at all to do with client interaction. Within this role, I accomplished the following: * Raised customer satisfaction to an average 4.95 out of 5 * Rewrote all user documentation into a MediaWiki format * Worked with other departments to implement IT Service Management best practices * Led the team responsible for replacing internal ticketing system * Led the project team responsible for improving the software release process to reduce bugs, manage change and comply with audit requirements * Participated in QA improvement initiative that successfully reduced the number of bugs released into production environment as a result of changes initiated by the organization

Ajilon assumed the project from another consulting firm, and my role was to manage the transition with the least possible impact to Allison. The Desktop Customer Care team was responsible for telecom (cell phones & pagers) and some desktop work. My responsibilities included: * Hire a team of 13 individuals within a 2 week deadline * Manage transition from old consulting firm to Ajilon while also managing requests related to the divestiture of Allison from GM * Improve customer satisfaction * Report on metrics defined by customer * Manage $11M project to the level expected by the customer Failure to meet SLA/metrics would result in a 10%/month fine to Ajilon
