Sheila Frick

With over 35 years of clinical experience, I lead the Vital Links team in offering clinically relevant, practice based continuing education workshops. We provide occupational therapists with a theoretical and neuroscientific rationale from which to blend with the art of clinical practice. We have always been driven by my passion for results oriented therapy. Similarly, we aim to share practical and individualized treatment strategies that therapists can easily implement across multiple environments (clinical practice, schools, and homes). We offer courses that not only provide specific therapeutic tools, such as Therapeutic Listening and Astronaut Training, but also provide a unique approach for clinical reasoning from assessment to treatment. At Vital Links, we utilize and teach a line of clinical reasoning that considers the multiple contributing factors to decreased or limited daily participation; subsequently, we guide therapists in how to prioritize treatment to maximize functional outcomes efficiently .
