I am an award-winning artist and published author/illustrator of four children's books, and my work can be seen in many venues in the North Shore area. It is a particular delight to created commissioned paintings and murals for my patrons, incorporating their ideas into my work. I have also won several awards for logo designs, and I enjoy the challenge of creating logos for my business clients. I had the pleasure of working with Sara Maurno as a contributing artist at her Salem gallery, Gasworks. Sara was unusual in the art community in that she was both very creative and artistic while also being extremely organized and businesslike. Sara kept a wonderful website which featured pages on each of the artists who showed work in her gallery and also had links to our websites. The Gasworks website also promoted events for the arts and entertainment scene in Salem. The Gasworks was a lively establishment. Sara hosted receptions and music for the artists, and her display talents made the gallery particularly attractive to patrons. Sara was very businesslike in her dealings with the artists, keeping excellent records and paying us for our sold work in a timely manner. I was proud to be associated with Sara and her gallery.
