Responsible for servicing electrical (high voltage environment) UPS systems (9155, 9355, 9390, 9315, 93E and 93PM HV, LV), batteries, and electronic based products at customer sites. Performs on-site emergency and preventative maintenance and repair, as well as installation of company product in a 24/7 on-call environment with regional responsibility. Products to include uninterruptible power supplies and batteries. Provides technical support to customers and serves as contact on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.

Manages the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system, programming and inventory management of one site and over 1100 radios to include user training. Installation Spectrum Manager, analyzing and processing frequency license requests to include training of unit personnel in their responsibilities and frequency management. Government Emergency Telecommunications System (GETS) / Wireless Priority Service (WPS) maintaining user access and training. Mobile Satellite System (MSS) maintaining satellite phones and processing requests for access and use. Personal Wireless Communication Systems (PWCS) processing upgrades for devices, account creation, and account management for over 70 accounts and over 700 devices.

-Adjusted audio and data levels of satellite communications equipment. Utilized test equipment such as an Ohmmeter, Spectrum Analyzer, and FireBerd 8000 to identify and diagnose equipment faults and make repairs as required. -Accurately documented repair costs, man hours, placed requisitions and tracked repair parts through Global Combat Support Systems-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), an Oracle-based software system. This included the briefing of items in GCSS-MC including the equipment status'. -Managed personnel training and planning/execution of maintenance detachments for deployments in South Korea, Thailand, Philippines, and Japan. -Coordinated, managed, and executed supply logistics to ensure repair parts were available in garrison and the duration of deployments and exercises.

-Secondary MOS, ground safety specialists are Marines trained and able to manage or assist in the operation of the Marine Corps Ground Safety Program in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations. -Provides safety indoctrination and education for the command and obtains and maintains safety equipment and material. -Monitors compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. -Applies hazard control fundamentals and techniques. -Assists in planning the Accident Prevention Program of the command.

-Provided advice, guidance and assistance to the equipment commodity manager, the maintenance commodity manager and maintenance personnel who performed maintenance and maintenance management duties via the maintenance information system. -Supervise maintenance management personnel and monitor maintenance management programs. -Analyze maintenance and maintenance management functional areas to ensure effective management of equipment, maintenance, and materiel.

-Used test equipment to check switching system status, replacement of inoperative components or parts, and interconnection of electronic switching systems with other communication elements. -Requisition, track, and brief the status of replacement parts. -Plan and execute logistics for maintenance in field environments in Japan, Thailand, South Korea, and Australia. -Train and manage personnel in physical fitness, maintenance, safety, and policy to ensure maximum productivity.
