Managing Director/Senior Executive, Accenture Technology, Client Technology Executive/Delivery Executive (September 2007 – July 2016) I helped clients define their business and technology strategy to take best advantage of the latest innovations and trends and leverage the latest emerging technologies in digital, cloud, mobile, social or on premise to deliver business value. Worked with our clients to improve the performance of their IT function and architecture defining pragmatic solutions and making sense of their portfolio of technology all of which may not be under their control. I drove solution architecting, planning, implementation and delivery initiatives and acted as a change agent with the client to ensure success. Specific industry focus in Retail (Woolworths, Edcon, Masscash) and Consumer Goods (Tiger Brands). Managing Director, Accenture Technology, Oracle Platform Lead (South Africa) (July 2013 – July 2016) Additionally, I managed Accenture South Africa’s Oracle business across all industries to grow and develop Oracle capability and business through proactive development of the local Oracle alliance executive relationship and delivering joint go to market strategies. In this role I managed and implemented Oracle based solutions for our clients covering the full Oracle stack from applications (E-Business Suite, Cloud, Industry and Customer Experience), technology (middleware and database) through to hardware (Engineered Systems and storage solutions). Managing Director, Products Technology Growth Platform Portfolio and Delivery Lead (August 2008 – August 2013) I was responsible for overseeing the technology business within Accenture South Africa’s Products Operating Group which included the Retail, Consumer Goods, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals and Industrial industry sectors. This role involved providing oversight for the delivery of all our technology work across multiple industries and multiple solutions including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and others.

I was responsible for programme and project management of a number of large scale ERP and custom development projects across a number of industries, focusing in Retail including Woolworths, Edcon and Masscash. Experience included: • Implementation and rollout of store solution to over 1200 stores. The solution included end-to-end store system functionality including POS, back office and reporting capabilities • Implementation of Imports solution at a local apparel and department store retailer • Implementation of Oracle Financials and HR at a number of South African retailers • Post merger integration and systems integration for a number of separate acquisitions over a number of years for a local apparel and department store retailer • Development of an integrated business solution blueprint for a medical research company • Programme Management Office (PMO) capabilities and strategic direction for Electricity Distribution Industry (EDI) Restructuring initiatives for local Utility

In this role I setup and configured Oracle’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain ERP solutions as well as supplying functional business process expertise. I also spent one and a half years implementing Baan IV ERP Manufacturing and Distribution modules for a pharmaceutical company.

I led a team of electricians and instrument technicians in the maintenance of a large process plant including all software modifications and design work for the various control systems (Distributed Control Systems - DCS and SCADA).
