- Responsible for PCB, IC, Display, Active and Passive commodity - Analyze market supply trends and develop sourcing strategies for assigned manufacturers and commodities - Conduct RFQs, including cost analysis, evaluation, and supplier comparison - Control, maintain, and negotiate current pricing and supplier contracts - Ensure contract pricing is extended and aligned with EMS and CM(contract manufacturers) - Support NPI sourcing and EMS/CM sourcing activities for components, including RFQ cost evaluation, estimation, and BOM cost target achievement - Propose component sourcing strategies, including second-source options and alternative solutions to support NPI sourcing and risk mitigation

-Coordinate and lead all new start-up projects (New Product Introduction). -Responsible for new item sourcing. -Propose alternate source for single source purchase. -Resolve problematic lot -Manage PCN. -Manage new vendor set up. -Negotiate and liaise with suppliers to achieve cost savings. -Interface with commodity manager for better term. -Execute orders on time and MRP actions in rescheduling/cancellation. -May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

-Manage NPI and Mass Production for Medical Project. -Manage material phase-in plan to minimize cost impacted. -Manage Excess and Obsolete materials. -Manage material shortages to meet customer's satisfaction. -Work with quality, manufacturing, supplier quality engineer to resolve problematic lot. -Execute orders on time and MRP actions in rescheduling/cancellation. -Weekly call with customer for outstanding status/action that require update/closure. -Work with vendor for better lead time reduction and inventory control program like JIT. -Bronze lean six sigma certified -May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
