To ensure the institution’s compliance with Meaningful Use reporting and Core Measure performance standards. Responsible for concurrent review of medical records, extraction of patient information for quality reporting and data collection to monitor compliance with regulations. Reviews patient information/ documentation of daily care observations for electronic core measures and meaningful use. In cooperation with IS, responsible for identifying Clinical Suite obstacles to compliance and for the development of strategies for improved performance. In cooperation with Department Managers, facilitates resolution of complex process issues related to clinical documentation of patient care.
