Hello! My name is Shawheen. I’m a recent Computer Engineering graduate from Cal Poly and a current MS Business Analytics student. I chose the MSBA to get sharper at reading the data behind marketing and product strategy, and to tie them back to what gets built. Currently I work in technical sales at Exclusive Networks, and before that I held a role in solutions engineering, developing a security assessment suite and managing network infra. I also spent several years at Unibui, a startup connecting students with local jobs, where I worked across software engineering and product direction. I serve as a Perplexity AI Campus Partner and as an AI researcher with the Algoverse program, exploring how emerging technologies can shape the way people learn, work, and build. I’m driven by building products and systems that solve real problems, where the “why” matters just as much as the “how.” Always open to connecting, learning, and creating things worth building.
