‘Tommy John’, is a small scale ‘startup’ US brand. However within a short span of 2 years achieved the status of ‘best vendor for garment quality’ and '2nd largest vendor' by achieving an annual sale exceeding $4.2 Mn. Achieved 200% of the budgeted top line in both 2017 & 2018 and handed over the account in 2019 with a confirmed order book to exceed the 2019 budgeted figures.

Led teams working for H&M, Sweden & DIM Branded Apparels, France. The combined business grew from $16Mn to $50mn during this period with bottom line also growing by 23% Successfully implemented solutions such as ‘speed to market’ & ‘vendor managed inventory’ models resulting in favourable cash inflow, a 20% sustainable business increase within 6 months and overall bottom line gain. These were large scale projects combining Development, Supply Chain, Planning & Manufacturing teams. Provided leadership to set the rules of operations and getting everyone to mutually agree & align to put in place an accelerated work plan that created a distinct competitive edge to the business.

Led the product & business developments for European apparel giant H&M. The top line grew 7X times from $4Mn to $32 Mn during this period and the bottom line grew 35%

Heading the Business Development for ‘Uniqlo’ with the goal to increase the business topline by 7X times from $40M to $280M by 2021. Manage the overall business and work alongside teams working simultaneously on Garment designs, Garment technical development, Supply chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Industrial engineering, Finance, HR, Infrastructure, IT & Business compliance. Report directly to the Senior GM / Head of Business Unit.

Specialized banking function to maintain, safeguard assets & investments of foreign & local individuals. Managed an Investment Portfolio of LKR 48 Billion made up of Securities, Equity and Fixed Income Investments. Work involved dealing with the Colombo Stock Market & high net worth investors from around the globe. I also worked closely with internationally reputed institutions such as JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Northern Trust, HSBC, CITI & Deutsche Bank.

Direct coalition with UK buyers to develop, cost & finalize styles to be mass produced. Solely responsible for handling the entire development process from tech pack receipt to bulk order confirmation.
