Lead Software Engineer Troll P3 (Subsea): Responsible for project’s software scope involving delivery of Subsea Control Unit (SCU) control system software based on System 800xA with AC800M controllers. Development of new software libraries for implementing Equinor’s TR3037 V3 SAS - Integration of subsea control. Cooperation with Aker Solution & Equinor for technical requirements, design reviews, interface, system testing (FAT, EFAT, SIT).

SIS design, SIL analysis, HAZOP, FMECA, HAZID, LOPA, Alarms & Interlocks, SCAI & IACS Cyber security

▪ Responsible for planning & management of all RAMS activities & resources for major subsea projects (subsea production & workover systems). ▪ Continuous coordination with clients throughout all project phases. ▪ Review supplier’s technical documentations. ▪ Interface with topside (SAS) contractors for controls & instrumentation. ▪ Interface with topside systems for subsea controls (HPU, EPU/SPCU & SCU) ▪ Understanding client’s specifications/technical requirements & mandatory compliance requirements (regulations), and deliver efficient & cost effective technical solution. ▪ Facilitate (lead) risk workshops- FMECA/FMEA, HAZID, HAZOP. ▪ Functional safety (SIL) assessment. ▪ Develop internal engineering documentation procedures/guidelines. ▪ Support design review workshops for projects. ▪ Work with suppliers for product qualification, IEC 61508 compliance & certification. ▪ Support buyers with project specific technical requirements for controls equipment’s used for safety applications. ▪ Support tendering teams with solutions for safety & control systems. ▪ Review project documents- P&ID’s, Cause & effect, Electrical schematics, System control diagrams (SCD), RAM analysis, ALARP studies, Shutdown logics etc. ▪ Contract drafting & negotiations (technical/commercial) with suppliers.▪ Support Aker Solutions Controls R&D department in Norway for functional safety & automation concepts (projects: Subsea Factory | Amber). ▪ Developed strategy for achieving SIL qualification for subsea products. ▪ Support technical qualification programs (TQP's). ▪ Develop Safety requirement specifications (SRS) & Safety analysis reports (SAR). ▪ Analysis & calculations: Fault tree analysis (FTA), Reliability block diagrams (RBD), SIL calculations based on IEC 61508/ IEC 61511 and Sintef PDS methods. ▪ Good understanding of OREDA offshore reliability data usage. ▪ Training new employees on subsea systems (system architecture, control & safety systems)

List of Executed Projects: ▪ ENI Goliat | Project Engineer Automation, developer The project involved delivering Subsea Control Unit (SCU) for Aker Solutions subsea systems; it also involved developing an interface with HPU and Electrical power and umbilical monitoring unit. Controls software development for Intelligent well control system (IWC) (Baker Hughes System), HPU control & interface (Dual redundant Modbus RTU). ▪ Ormen lange subsea compression pilot project | Project Engineer Automation Automation System testing (ABB 800xA based control system). ▪ ENI Kitan Subsea | Lead Engineer Automation The project involved delivering SCU for FMC Technology’s subsea system. Controls software development for well control system & Intelligent well control system. EFAT with FMC & ENI at FMC Singapore. Operator’s manual for “Subsea control system using ABB 800xA system”. Provided training to FMC and ENI personals on SPS and IWC control system at Singapore. Active after sales technical support to FMC and ABB Singapore. ▪ ConocoPhillips Ekofisk, Early Water (EKOV-A subsea) | Project Engineer Automation The project involved delivering SCU for FMC Technology’s subsea system for water injection wells. My role involved SCU hardware engineering, Software (control logic & HMI) development, support application engineers. Support FAT & EFAT & technical support to customers. ▪ ConocoPhillips Ekofisk, Centrax communication project | Project Engineer Automation Profibus communication link programming between ABB and Siemens controllers. ▪ ConocoPhillips Ekofisk,SAS network split project | Project Engineer Automation Upgradation of existing ABB 800xA based SAS control network by adding redundancy without any downtime. ▪ ConocoPhillips Ekofisk, FTP Bypass project | Project Engineer Automation Programming ESD, F&G, PSD and PCS systems based on Norsok standards (SAS)
