Responsible for the development of Volunteer Resources programs and services, including recruiting, screening, training and placement of UHN’s 1000+ volunteers. - Special projects included developing 2 new roles for the VR department that would aid UHN clients to navigate the Hospital with ease and another to carry out fundraising activities. - Facilitated change of HRIS database, including setting up, training and creating a ‘quickguide’ for fast access to information for future interns. - Working closely with the Program Coordinators, Nursing Managers , Diversity Coordinator and Supervisors, created and implemented department specific projects impacting the visitor/guest experience.
