I'm a senior backend engineer with 4+ years of experience building distributed systems that actually hold up under pressure , most recently at Oracle, built and maintained a security gateway in Go across Kubernetes clusters, and before that at Amazon building high-volume Java services on AWS. I like hard problems and high ownership. I care about reliability, performance, and writing systems that are built to last, systems that handle real traffic, recover gracefully under failure, and stay maintainable as they grow. I believe the best engineering work is invisible to the end user but felt everywhere in the product Lately I've been going deep into AI-native engineering ,working with LLMs, AI coding agents, and agentic workflows using MCP and OpenAI. It's where I see backend engineering heading and it's where I want to keep growing. I was recently affected by the Oracle layoffs and I'm actively looking for my next role - senior backend, distributed systems, or AI-native engineering. Open to full-time and contracting.
