During my internship at Satra Group, I assisted in the inspection and evaluation of bridge structures to assess their condition and recommend rehabilitation strategies. My responsibilities included: Field Inspections: Participated in on-site bridge inspections, documenting structural conditions, identifying defects (e.g., cracks, corrosion, spalling), and assisting in data collection using tools like calipers, and sounding devices. -Data Analysis & Reporting: Supported engineers in analyzing inspection findings, preparing condition reports, and contributing to rehabilitation recommendations. Research & Compliance: Researched industry standards to ensure inspections met regulatory requirements. Collaboration: Worked closely with senior engineers and project managers to develop cost-effective and sustainable repair solutions. This hands-on experience strengthened my understanding of structural assessment, maintenance strategies, and the importance of infrastructure resilience.
