About
I’m Sharda Harrison—an actor, television presenter, and arts educator based in Singapore, working across film/documentary, stage, and live dialogue. My work is anchored in embodied practice and research-led storytelling—whether I’m building a character from the inside out on screen, or holding a room with calm precision as a moderator. On screen, I’ve hosted documentary work for Channel NewsAsia and acted in Mediacorp’s Sunny Side Up. On stage, I’m known for rigorous, truthful performances—including Pangdemonium’s People, Places & Things, which earned the Best Actress Award (2024 Life! Theatre Awards). As a host/moderator, organisers come to me for: • Clear framing that makes complexity legible • Brave questions, calm pacing, and a human tone • Smooth transitions between speakers, room, and camera If you’re building a story—or a room—where authenticity matters, I’d love to hear from you. 📩 chat@Shardaharrison.com | 🌐 www.ShardaHarrison.com

Movement Lecturer
Singapore
During my time at NAFA as a movement lecturer, I lectured both the diploma students in performing arts and the students from the BA Performance Making Course in movement techniques such as body presence, breath work, elemental work, character embodiment as well as mask and mime. I also lectured students in performance making skills, how to create site adaptive/specific work pertaining to the body as well as self-devised movement based work which encouraged the student-performer to develop their own directorial eye and skillset.

Theatre Director and Movement Lecturer
Singapore
Talking Bodies I worked as an adjunct lecture for the Diploma Programme with LASALLE COLLEGE OF THE ARTS between the years 2017 to 2024, when I was most active. I designed and created the lesson programs during my coaching years for 'Talking Bodies' which was a movement based module designed for year one diploma students to engage with their bodies from Presence to Breath into Creation of text and narrative. They learned how to use their bodies as a starting point turning these into stories, dialogue and performance. Community Theatre Using similar principles to 'Talking Bodies' I used the topography of the student performer's body and experience to create a work which students resonated with socially. From certain issues/topics, students were guided to create their own touring show, from script to production to staging.
