I worked as a volunteer at Friends of the Koala in Lismore, which is a non-profit organisation that helps care for koalas in the area. My duties were to help sick and injured koalas brought in. I would clean the pens they were kept in, bring them new leave, record their condition, and if need be give them an oral supplement with a needleless syringe.
