My role involved and developed the following professional skills: - Preparation of annual financial statements for both tax and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP (IFRS, PBE IPSAS and special purpose). This includes Statements of Financial Performance, Financial Position, Cash Flows and Service Performance - an exciting and growing form of reporting on objectives and deliverables. - Preparation and filing of income tax and GST (VAT) returns for individuals and companies. - In-depth preparation, presentation and analysis of monthly management accounts for for-profit and not-for-profit clients. - Prepared cash-flow forecasts for a number of stakeholders including banks, solicitors and matrimonial disputes. - Regularly led in-person Xero software training workshops for clients. These workshops were sold at fixed-fees to clients. - Where I have prepared financial reports, working with external auditors to achieve unmodified opinions and get the best result for the client. - Managing, training and mentoring junior staff. - Certified Xero Adviser and significant experience with MYOB, simPro and MS Office suite, including Excel. - Administrative and organisational skills. A growing part of my role was as the firm Sustainability Officer. I ran an ESG Awareness Raising workshop for partners and staff. I introduced soft plastic recycling and composting to our office, and led the effort to measure and manage our carbon footprint, at all scope levels. Represented my local office at the national training provided by international sustainability consultants.

Intec Interiors is an interior decorating and homeware store. In this position, I worked closely with customers and took part in administrative tasks, stock inputting as well as the staging and decorating of the store.
