As an intern at the Hunt County Adult Probation Office I oversaw many tasks that the Community Supervision Officers (CSO) completed on a daily basis. I sat in on office visits from probationers while completing visitation reports on Windows Vista about their time in the office. During my three months of internship I attended Felony/Misdemeanor court along with the CSO to analysis what roles the officer played when they were called to court to testify against a probationer. Also while at Hunt County I successfully overseen how urinary analysis samples were taken, written and developed violation arrest warrants as well as staying updated about the changing laws in the County.

As a member of the Executive Board for Student Activities I was responsible for coordinating programs that directly benefited our campus and the community. I set forth events and programs for our community such as fun-filled novelties, tailgates for football games, late-night breakfasts during final exam weeks for the student to part take in and also help coordinated the end of year concerts for the University. While working for the Programming Board for the past two years I attended various trainings that helped improve my leadership and communication skills as well.

Working for the Counseling Masters Department I completed clerical and administrative duties. These tasks involved making inbound/outbound calls to students regarding their admission status and questions, filing, scanning, and faxing. Over the three and half years working in the department interacted and helped professors with exams, admission packets into the university, and developing innovative ways to make the department work more efficiently. During the time here I enhanced my computer skills while using Windows Vista/XP and utilizing basic computer applications.

As a Juvenile Probation I'm responsible for providing professional casework, supervision, counseling and services in the rehabilitation of youthful offenders who have been committed to the custody of various divisions within the Juvenile Department. While performing all or a combination of duties which may include intake or risk assessments, diagnosis, investigations, crisis intervention, case planning and report writing. Responsible for the disposition of youths and the provision of appropriate resources necessary to meet the immediate needs of youths and their families.
