Responsible for intelligence collection, planning, and management in support of the Battalion Commander's priorities and operations. Leads the threat analysis of the Battalion's battlefield operating environment during all training exercises and directed missions. Leads the battalion on physical and personnel security to include 385 paratroopers, the Battalion's tactical vehicles, unit arms rooms, and facilities. Manages the welfare and training of two paratroopers. Supervises the daily actions and production of the S2 shop.

Leader of a 38 man airborne field artillery platoon. Responsible for the planning, supervision, and execution of all unit training exercises along with the maintenance and accountability of property valued in excess of $7.5 million dollars.

2nd in charge of 110 man headquarters battery capable of worldwide deployment within 18 hours of notification. Oversaw all unit operations and logistics and was responsible for the management of $25 million worth of equipment.

Leader of a 10 man fire support team. Primary advisor to the company commander on all lethal and non-lethal fire support and was responsible for the training and certification of all leaders in a 120 man infantry company. Managed equipment valued at over $250,000.
