Electrical Engineering Technologist for Electric Light and Power, Transmission Planning. Responsibilities include: - Manage substation related projects within the City of Red Deer such as 138-25kV transformer replacement projects. - Downtown vault RTU project planning and control system retrofit. - GIS integration into CYME engineering software. - Perform distribution and fuse coordination studies with CYME Engineering software. - Prepare and manage CAD drawings with AutoCAD. - Prepare oil samples and manage data for dissolved gas analysis for substation transformers. - Member of the Environment Management Working Group. Responsible for PCB reporting to Environment and Climate Change Canada. Work with consultants for site clean-up and testing.

- Trained as system controller with the AESO for 2 years. - Obtained NERC Certification as a Certified System Opertator (Reliability Coordinator). - 24 hour shift rotation in the Grid and Market Group with key responsibilies of monitoring the System Security desk, Energy Generation desk and Interchange desk. - Involvment in several Black Start Simulation Training excercises.

- Technical work related to installation and commissioning of grain storage and feed mill projects on agricultural sites. Service territory was Alberta and parts of B.C and Saskatchewan. - Experience with AutoCAD on smaller scale in house design projects.
