Engineering support for all touchscreen products and systems. Directly interfaced with customers, taking charge of issues/problems of systems in the field. Coordinated resources, including software and hardware engineers to provide quick and complete solutions to customers around the world. Provided a high level problem resolution resource for the complete technical support department. Instrumental in transfer of production from Switzerland to USA of company’s flagship FTMS Instruments. Built and installed multiple FTMS Systems. Worked in a multi-disciplinary team including with research and application scientists to develop new products. Performed electronics design, guiding manufacturers to take newly designed circuits and systems to full production. Performed upgrading of older systems. Designed and developed new projects. Worked on the production and service of medium and ultra-high vacuum pumping systems. Experienced with Silicon Graphics state of the art Indigo-II UNIX workstations. Customer interaction in Installations and service on site. Technical telephone support all over the world. Generated Manuals, tech drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) and performed inventory control of production materials. Designed, programmed and maintained departmental website on the company's Intranet server.

Project Manager and lead engineer for the T5000 Bio-detector. A collaboration between Bruker Daltonics, Inc. and Ibis Pharmaceuticals of Carlsbad, CA to manufacture the advanced robotic auto-sampling DNA testing system. Worked with Ibis to transfer technical knowledge and customize design of advanced system to enable full modern production and manufacturing at the Bruker Daltonics, Inc. facility in Billerica, MA. Managed two dedicated project engineers, leading the team to partially redesigned and streamlined the bill of resources (BOR) engineering document from a very rudimentary document. Brought the system design and BOR in line with modern manufacturing methods and high volume manufacturing. Successfully set up the manufacturing line at Bruker. Built, validated, delivered and installed initial systems. Worked with the customer support department to set up service and support of fielded systems.
