1. Collect purchase requisitions (PR) from the concerned department and proceed with the order placement to meet the requirement on time 2. Collect quotations from vendors and negotiate prices to ensure the purchase at a competitive rate 3. Prepare a comparative statement and get approval from management to finalize the purchase orders with suppliers 4. Generate the system's purchase order (PO) against the selected vendor to purchase the material. 5. Monitor the delivery of materials to the respective location within the stipulated time frame. 6. Check all the documents; i.e. GRN/MRR, supplier’s bill copy, delivery challan, purchase order, the weight of truck scale, and other documents to ensure the payment within due time. 7. Maintain and update record of all suppliers’ contact information and product price lists for future references 8. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize holding costs, and prevent stockouts 9. Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Responsibilities:  End-to-End Supply Chain Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and production to distribution and delivery.  Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.  Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize holding costs, and prevent stockouts.  Inventory Audit: Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.  Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and industry developments to make informed decisions and adapt supply chain strategies accordingly.  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, logistics, and quality assurance, to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.  Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reports on supply chain performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management.  Operations Oversight: Provide guidance and support to the operations team, ensuring smooth and efficient factory and toll unit operations.  Invoice Processing: Oversee the processing of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.  Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in audits related to supply chain processes, including inventory audits.  Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain and implement best practices to drive operational excellence
