Hi! I work as a procurement specialist in the steel sector and have practical knowledge in cost optimization, sourcing, and vendor management. I've gained experience managing suppliers, negotiating wisely, and maintaining operations while constantly monitoring quality and cost over the years. I like the practical aspects of procurement, but I've also become really interested in data science. I've been studying and honing my skills in data analysis, generative artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and natural language processing (NLP). How data may enhance supply chain, purchasing, and vendor performance decision-making particularly interests me. I've been using data thinking in my work in a few ways: * Using vendor data analysis to identify patterns and strengthen connections * Using basic forecasting models to identify areas for cost savings * Making better inventory and buy planning decisions using data I use tools like Power BI, MS office, Google suite, and Excel. Additionally, I've worked with SAP and ERP systems, which are widely used in manufacturing and procurement. I'm currently seeking to advance in a position that combines my love of data with my knowledge of procurement.
