With expertise in Six Sigma Green Belt Problem solving methodology, I am currently leading the Focused Improvement initiative in one of the most complex facilities of Nestle across the world since the last two years. The job is to not only solve the issues but also to identify the root causes of the potential risks and then build capability in people to eliminate the problems themselves. Furthermore, with the introduction of TPM and Lean initiatives, Focused Improvement has to develop the solid base for sustainability. Recently created two automated tools to identify factory losses. These tools are based on the methodologies of loss tree analysis (LTA) and the IPA. Earlier it took about two weeks to identify losses of a Nestle factory of the scale of Sheikhupura and now it takes less than one hour.

Started Nestle career as Team Leader in operations at Milk Standardization Unit. The unit runs 3 shifts operation continuously throughout the month and handles more than 1000 tons of milk in a day with complex and dynamic operations. During this time, a large and diversified group of people was handled and effective capability was built in them.

Worked primarily as Environment Engineer in Pakarab Fertilizers Multan. The unit is one of the biggest mixed Fertilizers facilities of the country. Subsequently , a range of different pollutants were generated which needed to be treated before discharging to environment. The unit has CDM plant which was used to treat the NOx emissions. An effluent treatment plant is in operation to treat the liquid effluents. Solid wastes is also disposed of properly in land fills to avoid any issue. All these things ensured that factory complied with the EPA regulations.

Started career at Utilities Plant as Operations Engineer. The plant consisted of following: 1) Double Cross flow induced draft cooling tower 2) Demineralization water treatment plant 3) Air Compression Units 4) Gas fired Boilers 5) Steam Turbines for Power generation 6) Cogeneration Power Plant A big team comprising of electrical , maintenance and automation teams were handled during the assignment.
