I have previously worked at an open farm during the busy school holidays. My roles included tills and service desk operation, specialist stall management and customer flow regulation. At all times I needed to make sure that the area was a safe and fun family environment so as to avoid complaints or injury.

Helping to raise awareness of student industrial placement and internship opportunities. Identify areas of improvement through student feedback and implement ideas and solutions to increase student participation. Undertake an employability project outside of hours to support the work of the team and Careers Centre staff.

I undertook some work experience within my field of study over the summer of 2011. The knowledge and experience that I have gained includes working in an office environment, understanding problem scope, UBS ticketing system and the way in which problems are resolved. I had also began to understand about the use of collaborative software within a business and project analysis, to which I can relate greatly with my current Computer Science degree.

A-Level Results: Computing A*, Law A*, Mathematics A, Further Mathematics (AS) C GCSE Results: 11 GCSE passes A*-C including English, Mathematics and Triple Science I have taken part in the Maths Leader Scheme and have gained the award for teaching and assisting young people maths. Other activities also include taking part in various maths challenges and events for the school. I have also taken part in the Young Enterprise Scheme and was part of a business for a year which has given me an insight into working in a successful company environment. I was quite fond of computers and the world of technology ever since starting here, thus joining the Computing Club proved very useful and I had learnt a lot which has prepared me further for university life. I was able to gain programming experience and any other help with my studies. The Duke of Edinburgh Award is something which I regard highly. I have completed Bronze and am on my way to completing my Silver award.

I have completed a 4 year Computer Science degree with 3 years of study with a year in industry during my 3rd year. Activities and Societies: Computing Society ("CompSoc"), Snooker & Pool Society, Cross Country Club
