Working as both the Director of Engineering and Director of Product Development for 6 years, I made HandsFree Labs/Kizik the IP powerhouse for handsfree footwear by developing hundreds of patented ideas. These concepts have assisted the growth of Kizik from 6M to 130M in sales and have given HFL the ability to take on the 3rd largest footwear company in the world, Skechers, in a high stakes infringement lawsuit.

As Head of Product for Bloom Standard, I drove the early-stage strategy planning for a groundbreaking automated ultrasound technology designed to transform rural infant healthcare with AI driven ultrasound imaging. I crafted the initial product roadmap and build strategy, and crafted the compelling narrative and assets for fundraising efforts. The company was sidelined due to the pandemic and I pivoted to find other opportunities.

At Owlet, I drove product innovation by leading the end-to-end design lifecycle for the company's core hardware portfolio. My leadership spanned from ideation to full-scale manufacturing for our most critical products, including three generations of the flagship Smart Sock, the novel Belly Band (pending release), and the Owlet Cam. Design efforts at Owlet received ‘CES Best of Innovation Award - 2019’, ‘Best of CES Award - 2016’, ‘Design Excellence - Good Design Award’, among others.
