Sergi Lupon Santacana

I am currently pursuing a Double MSc in Business Analytics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Industrial Engineering at UPC (ETSEIB), two world-renowned and highly demanding engineering institutions. My journey has been guided by ambition, curiosity, and a genuine drive to connect technical engineering expertise with data-driven decision making. I graduated in Industrial Technologies Engineering with an Accenture Excellence Scholarship for one of the top academic records and 10 Honors, building a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering. I’ve always aimed to combine academic excellence with real-world impact, something I could truly experience during my master’s. While pursuing my MSc, I earned four Honors and was nominated for several merit scholarships, all while working part-time as a Production & Performance Engineer at Henkel. There, I contributed to optimizing production processes, improving KPIs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing and data analysis. At DTU, I am now specializing in Business Analytics, focusing on Machine Learning, Data Analysis and Computer Science. It allows me to combine my analytical mindset with my passion for technology, engineering and innovation. My international journey, including the enriching time I spent at Politecnico di Milano, has strengthened my adaptability and I deeply value international collaboration. I consider myself self-demanding, proactive and passionate about learning and continuous improvement. My goal is to bridge engineering and analytics to design smarter, more efficient and sustainable solutions, while growing personally and professionally along the way.
