Under broad direction, manages a team of procurement professionals and is accountable for sourcing plans to support manufacturing’s, field operation’s or project management’s strategic plans. Assists with implementing and executing Category Management strategy as well as ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Approves the selection and qualification of suppliers and negotiates for goods and services not covered under Category Management. Develops strategies to improve supplier performance for spending not under regional or global Category Management. Ensures collaboration with Business Development and Technology to set specifications for products and services.

Working on Global PM&L Targets Working with PSL Managers and Supervisors on daily/weekly/monthly targets Leads a group of Procurement/ Materials / Logistics professionals and plans sourcing to support PSL. Directs the creation of request for quotations (RFQ) and competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain best quality, delivery and price for goods and services Responsible for approving the selection and qualification of suppliers, negotiating with suppliers, and implementing agreements for local procurement of goods and services Develops strategies to improve supplier performance for spend Responsible for planning, budgeting, and supervision of all material control activities. This includes providing information on identified material requirements, establishing acquisition priorities, and stating the procurement, fabrication, delivery, issue, and inventory status of each. Maintain material systems and records and prepare status reports. Supervises, trains, and determines manpower requirements for Department Replacing PM&L Manager during vacations and Business trips, while Manager do not accessible for contact.
