As an in-home therapist, I work with at risk children and adolescents and their families. My focus is twofold: to help the family repair their relationships and to provide coordination between servicing agencies. I conduct family assessments and focus on both relational strengths and deficits. Many of the family’s challenges are influenced by contextual and environmental factors that affect the family’s ability to cope. By linking communication between home, school, probation, judicial system, and servicing agencies, my goal is to strengthen the family’s internal resources and to build supportive contacts in the community.

My role is to provide individual, group and family therapy services to the temporarily homeless families who currently reside in the shelter program. My responsibilities also extend to provide psychotherapy to couples and families who are rehoused and desire therapeutic support due to their longstanding relational challenges.
